Graduation of Cohort 2

19.03.21

We are extremely excited to announce that last Tuesday, Cohort 2 of our Pre-Accelerator Programme graduated! We cannot believe how fast time has passed and we have already reached the end of the programme. We could not be more proud of the 8 start-ups that we got the chance to work with over the past 4-5 months. All of them have given their best and we have seen them grow exponentially – both as individuals as well as their businesses.

Highlights of the start-ups in Cohort 2:

Adwak Palm Oil did her second production of cholesterol-free palm oil, which sold out almost directly after production. She is currently preparing for her next production.

Alpha Cooling Center created a flyer and started marketing himself properly. He increased his number of customers significantly, and got business from a number of large companies in Sierra Leone.

Tian’s Closet developed a logo, got her clothing labels and started diversifying by creating her own tie-dye fabrics, with each batch selling out in few minutes.

Fofie Graphics has gained working experience, created his logo and defined the direction he wants to take his company.

Grace Graphics Design has created a long-term strategy and is now preparing for his move to an official office space later in the year.

DreamDay Technology is about to launch his e-learning platform and is currently undertaking a survey among 1000 university students!

STEM Garage is about to open their STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) centre in Bo.

Cerosa has conducted a lot of research regarding sustainable housing, and ended the programme with a 3D model house.

What’s next? We are currently in the application process for Cohort 3, which will commence in April!
