MusMap.com is a web page dedicated to classical and contemporary music, initiated by the composer Hugi Guðmundsson and built by the Portuguese programmer, Nuno Zimas. The web page was created as a forum for soloists, orchestras and composers to introduce themselves, their works and projects to one another. Among other uses, it is intended to serve as a platform for event organisers to better find certain music or performers to fit particular occasions. The goal of the site is to empower musicians and showcase classical music, thus strengthening the network of those in the sector. MusMap.com was built as a non-profit site through volunteer work.

Aurora Foundation’s grant supported the development and programming of an introductory system and further marketing of the web page.
