Aurora Foundation turns 11 years old!

23.01.18

Aurora Foundation was established on 23. January 2007. Looking back, it is nice to see how much we have accomplished through the years.

To date, we have supported and implemented 36 projects in 8 countries. The main focus has been on Sierra Leone (13 projects) and Iceland (15 projects). In total, we have spent over $7,8M on these projects (over 800M ISK).

With the largest recipient country being Iceland with $3,9M, which has mainly gone to support Icelandic musicians and designers, Sierra Leone has followed with $3,4M.

We at Aurora Foundation are proud of these achievements, and we all look forward to continuing our projects, as well as establishing new and exciting ones.
