Today The Lettie Stuart Pottery whom we have been collaborating with since 2018 got a long-awaited visit! Mr. Peter Korompai, a greatly experienced potter and kiln maker is here! He first visited The Lettie Stuart Pottery in 2019, in that trip he along with the LSP potters built the kiln that is currently in use in that trip he was accompanied by Guðbjörg another experienced potter who is arriving later in January, Guðbjörg first visited the pottery in 2018 ! The collaboration between Peter, Guðbjörg, and the pottery has resulted in knowledge sharing and gaining on both ends.

This time Peter will stay here for a month, he is arriving with some new tools and machinery that will increase the efficiency and quality of the pottery. We will of course share the happenings from the pottery with you all and we honestly can’t wait to see what this visit will entail for all partners involved. One thing is for sure and that is that where Peter is, there is loads of fun and creativity along with adventures that always turn into great stories. We are excited and know that you are too!
