Global Entrepreneurship Week Sierra Leone

15.11.21

This year Aurora Foundation had the honour to co-host Global Entrepreneurship Week’s events for Dare2-Aspire: Women in Entrepreneurship. Together with Innovation SL, a round table discussion was organised on the topic ‘youth, education and building entrepreneurial mindsets’, followed by a women entrepreneurs’ pitch night.

We wish to extend our thanks to Innovation SL, all sponsors of the event, all panel members and judges, and of course all the girls and women who pitched their business (ideas)! The prizes to both junior and senior pitchers were made possible by the Abu Kamara Entrepreneurship Funds. Abu Kamara is the co-founder & CEO of Grovara – the first global wholesale marketplace for Better-For-You brands – and is a seasoned global business development leader, having developed dozens of markets for thousands of products over the last decade-plus.

We are already looking forward to the next pitch night!
