18.01.16

Today Aurora Foundation signed an agreement with the local council in Goderich, Sierra Leone to build 8 communal latrines and two bathing facilities in an area in Goderich where such facilities hardly exist. In addition, with funds from Aurora, the council will improve the sewage system in the same community. The community, which is a fishing community, consists of around 500 people who will benefit greatly from this project. We are very proud of this cooperation between Aurora and the great fishing community in Ward 331, Goderich. Measurements were taken for the new facilities and construction work will start already this week.
