Aurora director, Mrs. Auður Einarsdóttir, leaves post

11.08.15

After serving as the director of Aurora Foundation for five years, Mrs. Auður Einarsdóttir has left her post in August, and moved to the Nederlands with her family.

Aurora foundation has, in recent years, been contributing to developmental projects in various locations around the globe. It has now been decided that the foundation will put less emphasis on supporting Icelandic projects, while increased efforts will be made with overseas development projects. Earlier this year, Mrs. Regína Bjarnadóttir, MSc in Developmental Economics, was hired to be the director of Aurora foundation and it’s development projects.

The board members of Aurora would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Mrs. Auður Einarsdóttir for the pleasant collaboration during the last years and wish her all the best in the future.
