Seventh Session of the Startup Accelerator Focuses on Financial Management

17.09.25

On September 16, the seventh in-class session of Aurora’s Startup Accelerator program was held this week, facilitated by Imran Kamara from Built. The focus of the session was financial management—an essential pillar for the sustainability and growth of any business.

Participants had the opportunity to take a deep dive into the financial side of their ventures, exploring how to understand better and manage their resources. The session combined practical insights with hands-on exercises, enabling entrepreneurs to link theory directly to their daily business realities.

Through group activities, engaging discussions, and role-play exercises, participants were able to challenge themselves, test different approaches, and strengthen their decision-making skills. The interactive format created a dynamic environment where entrepreneurs not only learned from the facilitator but also from each other’s experiences and perspectives.

This session underscored the importance of sound financial management practices in building strong, resilient businesses—equipping the startups with the tools they need to plan, grow, and sustain their impact.
