Third Batch of Returnees Complete Business Skills Training Under Reintegration Initiative

17.09.25

From 08–12 September 2025, a group of 32 returnees gathered at Aurora House, 35 Fraser Street, Pipeline Drive, to take part in a dynamic capacity-building workshop organized under the Return and Reintegration initiative. The training was a collaborative effort by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the European Union (EU), and the MRRP.

This five-day program aimed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to launch and sustain their own business ventures. The sessions offered a hands-on, participatory learning environment, encouraging attendees to engage through team exercises, scenario-based roleplays, open dialogue, and real-time problem-solving activities.

Training modules focused on three essential pillars: mental well-being in entrepreneurship, business and financial management, and enterprise development strategies. These sessions were not only informative but also inspirational—pushing participants to reflect on their potential and set meaningful goals for the future.

By the conclusion of the program, participants left with strengthened entrepreneurial capabilities, a clearer vision of their business aspirations, and a renewed sense of self-belief. This initiative represents a vital step in helping returnees rebuild their lives with dignity, resilience, and economic opportunity.
