From the 7th to the 11th of April, the Aurora House in Freetown came alive with energy, curiosity, and creativity as we hosted a one-week intensive training in Canva—a leading design platform empowering visual storytellers across the world.
The training, facilitated by our valued partner Dream Day Technology, brought together a vibrant group of young participants, each eager to explore the world of digital design. Out of 90 applications received, 29 were selected, and 27 participants attended the full training. Over the course of five days, they journeyed through the fundamentals of creative thinking, visual communication, and hands-on design practice. Our training space transformed into a hub of collaboration and innovation, as participants learned how to turn ideas into impactful visuals.
We are proud to announce that 24 participants successfully graduated from the program—an achievement that reflects their dedication and passion for learning.
