Aurora Foundation is excited to share highlights from our recently concluded first in-class training session for new startup entrepreneurs, marking the official launch of our Startup Empowerment Program. Held on the 6th May 2025, the session brought together a dynamic group of aspiring startup founders for a rich and engaging learning experience. The day’s program featured Inspiring Presentations, the sessions offered practical insights into business development, innovation strategy, and early-stage startup fundamentals.

The day was also marked by active participation, as attendees engaged in real-time Q&A, scenario-based activities, and shared personal business challenges with the group. Small group breakouts enabled deeper conversations on key entrepreneurial themes. Their energy, openness, and willingness to collaborate made for an enriching experience for everyone involved.

This session marks a strong start to our mission of empowering Sierra Leone’s next generation of innovators. The energy, curiosity, and collaboration shown by our participants prove that with the right support, our local startup ecosystem has enormous potential.
