AI Hackathon 2026: Advancing Innovation Through Partnership

Aurora Foundation is proud to sponsor AI Hackathon 2026, held from February 16–18, 2026, at Limkokwing University. Organized by TechHealth Africa in collaboration with FICT, the three-day event brought together students, innovators, and technology enthusiasts for an immersive experience centered on Artificial Intelligence and practical problem-solving.

The hackathon opened with an engaging AI Bootcamp designed to strengthen participants’ understanding of AI concepts and tools. This was followed by a hands-on coding phase where teams developed innovative solutions, culminating in a final pitching session and award ceremony that celebrated outstanding projects.

The atmosphere throughout the event reflected the growing momentum around digital innovation in Sierra Leone. Participants demonstrated creativity, teamwork, and strong technical potential, reinforcing the importance of platforms that nurture emerging talent.
