Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming representatives from the Sierra Leone Adult Education Association (SLADEA) to Aurora House. For some of our visitors, it was their first time seeing our premises, and we were delighted to give them a tour and introduce them to our work. The main purpose of the visit, however, was to say goodbye to our Country Manager, Claire Kpaka, who has worked closely with SLADEA over the past four years in managing the LSP Pottery Centre in Waterloo.
The SLADEA team took the opportunity to express their heartfelt gratitude for Claire’s hard work, support, and leadership throughout the years. They acknowledged the important role she has played in the success of the pottery centre and spoke warmly of her empathy, kindness, and the care with which she approached both the work and the people around her. They also praised her professionalism and the steady leadership she brought to the partnership and day-to-day operations.
We thank SLADEA for taking the time to visit Aurora House and for sharing these reflections and words of appreciation for Claire’s contribution to the LSP Pottery Centre.
