Sweet Salone at Maison & Objet 2025

10.09.25

We’re still buzzing with excitement and gratitude after an unforgettable week in Paris!

From September 4th to 8th, Sweet Salone had the honor of participating in the internationally renowned Maison&Objet – a design destination that brings together the best of global creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation.

Our booth was more than just a showcase of handmade beauty; it was a living story of Sierra Leonean craftsmanship, community, and culture. We were deeply moved by the warmth, curiosity, and enthusiasm of everyone who stopped by – from loyal customers to curious newcomers, retailers, designers, and press.

Maison&Objet offered a tremendous opportunity to reconnect with our existing clients, explore how they’ve grown with our pieces, and discuss exciting ways to continue collaborating. Even more inspiring was the chance to introduce Sweet Salone to a whole new audience. We had meaningful conversations, formed new partnerships, and found fresh inspiration in every corner of the exhibition.

We’re also proud to see how African and diaspora design continues to earn its rightful place on the global stage. To be among such passionate, purposeful creators only reaffirms our mission – to champion handmade, ethical, and deeply human design.

As we reflect on this experience, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to the Maison&Objet organizers for curating such an impeccable and inclusive platform. Your vision makes it possible for independent brands like ours to find new horizons.

We’re already making plans to return in January 2026. We can’t wait to see familiar faces and make even more connections. Until then, we’ll be hard at work crafting new pieces, telling new stories, and expanding the reach of Sierra Leonean artistry.

If you missed us in Paris – don’t worry. You can explore our latest collections online or reach out to start a conversation. We’re always happy to connect.
