On June 3rd, our third in-class session of this year’s Startup Accelerator Program was held at the Aurora House Training Center—a day that proved to be both insightful and energizing for our participating entrepreneurs. This one-day session was expertly facilitated by Bett Firms and focused on one of the most essential pillars of business success: financial management.
We were pleased to welcome 18 out of our 20 enrolled SMEs, a testament to the commitment and enthusiasm of this year’s cohort. The session stood out for its interactive and tailored approach, with financial management content specifically customized to address the diverse needs of SMEs from various industries and sectors.
From budgeting and cash flow strategies to understanding financial statements and forecasting for growth, the session equipped participants with practical tools and knowledge critical to strengthening their businesses’ financial foundations. Bett Firms’ facilitation ensured that complex concepts were delivered in an accessible and engaging manner, sparking active discussion and meaningful learning.
Participants appreciated the opportunity to ask questions relevant to their business models and share experiences with peers—turning the day into a collaborative learning environment where real-world financial challenges were met with expert advice and peer support.
The feedback from the session has been overwhelmingly positive, reinforcing the importance of hands-on, industry-specific learning within the accelerator journey.
