On October 14, the ninth in-class session of Aurora’s Startup Accelerator program took place at Aurora House, facilitated by Ajara Marie Mboma, Founder and Strategist at Women Mean Business. The session centered on customer retention and experience, core pillars for building lasting relationships and driving sustainable business growth.
Participants explored practical strategies for retaining customers, learning how to build trust, foster loyalty, and create meaningful experiences that keep clients coming back. The session emphasized the power of customer empathy, helping entrepreneurs better understand their audiences and tailor their services to meet real needs.
Through a hands-on exercise, each participant designed their own customer retention strategy, connecting theory to action in ways directly relevant to their businesses.
The session reinforced that successful ventures go beyond acquiring customers—they nurture them. By prioritizing customer experience, startups are better equipped to grow their impact and build strong, enduring brands.
