ICT for Beginners Course Graduation

15.03.25

On March 15th, Aurora Foundation proudly concluded its first ICT for Beginners course of the year, marking a significant step in our commitment to empowering young people with essential digital skills. Over the course of two weeks, 24 dedicated participants attended training sessions at the Aurora House Training Center, where they gained valuable insights and hands-on experience in the world of Information and Communication Technology.

We received an overwhelming 77 applications for this course, and after a rigorous selection process, 26 participants were chosen to embark on this transformative learning journey. Despite the challenges, all 24 attendees completed the course and graduated with newfound confidence and skills in ICT.

The training, designed specifically for beginners, was an opportunity for young minds to engage with the digital world, opening doors to endless possibilities in education, employment, and innovation. We are proud of the progress made by each participant, who demonstrated determination and enthusiasm throughout the program.

Looking ahead, we are excited to announce the launch of our ICT for Intermediate training, starting March 17th. This two-week course will build on the foundation laid in the previous session, offering advanced skills to help participants progress further in the tech field.

The Aurora Foundation remains committed to nurturing the next generation of digital leaders in Sierra Leone, and we look forward to seeing the continued success of our participants as they apply their new skills in various spheres of life.

Stay tuned for more updates and opportunities from Aurora Foundation.
