We are excited to spotlight Fatmata Binta Jalloh, who embarked on her journey with Aurora Foundation as an intern on February 1, 2024. Fatmata Binta Jalloh, a recent graduate in Business Administration from the Institute of Public Administration and Management, is a testament to dedication and perseverance. After graduating, she undertook a rigorous 6-month performance skills training program at Grow Salone, where she distinguished herself as the top performer in her class.

Her exceptional performance at Grow Salone garnered her a highly recommended spot for an internship at Aurora Foundation. Despite her initial nerves and fears about securing a permanent role, Fatmata Binta Jalloh’s resilience and determination shone through. The supportive environment at Aurora Foundation played a crucial role in helping her navigate the internship.

During her three-month tenure, Fatmata Binta Jalloh made significant contributions to two major projects. She spent two months with the Sweet Salone project and one month with Aurora Impact. Her performance not only met but far exceeded our expectations, showcasing her remarkable skills and adaptability.

We are proud to announce that Fatmata Binta Jalloh has achieved her goal of becoming a permanent staff member. She has been appointed as a Project Assistant for the Sweet Salone project. Fatmata Binta Jalloh’s advice for aspiring professionals is to be versatile in their roles, take initiative, and focus on delivering shared targets. She believes that embracing higher-level tasks and self-initiative can significantly boost confidence and career progression.
