From 25–29 August 2025, Aurora House at 35 Fraser Street, Pipeline Drive, welcomed 34 returnees for a special training program under the Return and Reintegration initiative. This project was jointly implemented by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), EU, and MRRP.
The week-long training was designed to equip participants with the tools and knowledge necessary to build sustainable businesses and enhance their economic independence. Sessions were highly interactive, with group work, Roleplay exercises, engaging discussions, and lively Q&A moments that kept participants actively involved throughout the program.
The training content was carefully structured around three core areas: mental health and psychological support in business, business management, financial and inventory management, and entrepreneurship development. These sessions not only built practical skills but also encouraged participants to think confidently about their future and the opportunities they can create.
By the end of the week, participants walked away with valuable insights, strengthened skills, and renewed motivation to take the next steps on their entrepreneurial journey. This training marks another step forward in supporting returnees as they rebuild their lives with dignity, resilience, and purpose.
