18.08.24

We are thrilled to share the highlights from our recent Entrepreneurship Training Boot Camp, held from August 15 to 16 at the esteemed Augmac Farm’s premises in Tiama. Hosted by Mr. Augustine McCarthy, CEO of Augmac Farms, this three-day event brought together 25 passionate Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) from Tiama, Kenema, 191, and Bo for an intensive and transformative experience.

Augmac Farms, a notable success story, is one of the businesses that recently completed our 18-month Investment Readiness Boot Camp. Mr. McCarthy’s invaluable insights and expertise were evident as he not only hosted the event but also facilitated several sessions. His firsthand experience and success with Augmac Farms provided participants with practical, real-world knowledge that enriched the training.

The boot camp covered various aspects of starting and running a successful enterprise, including business planning, financial management, and market strategies. The high level of engagement from the participants was evident throughout the training, as they eagerly took part in interactive sessions and collaborative discussions.

We are proud of the progress made by these aspiring entrepreneurs and are excited to see how they will apply their new skills to drive growth and innovation in their respective communities. A special thank you to Mr. McCarthy for his exceptional support and dedication to nurturing the next generation of business leaders.

Stay tuned for more updates and future events aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and economic development. Together, we are building a stronger and more vibrant business landscape in Sierra Leone.
