Aurora Foundation Annual Staff Meeting – A Reflection and a Look Ahead

29.01.25

On January 23rd, the Aurora Foundation celebrated a significant milestone: our 18th anniversary. This moment not only marked our growth as an organization but also provided a chance to reflect on the journey that has brought us here. To commemorate this occasion, we gathered for our Annual Staff Meeting, where we came together as a team to review the past year, celebrate our successes, and pinpoint areas for improvement.

The day was filled with reflection, discussion, and planning. Our team delved deeply into each of our programs, examining what worked well and what areas needed tweaking. It was an insightful and collaborative experience, as we celebrated the impact we’ve made while acknowledging the lessons learned. The energy in the room was palpable, and we all left with a renewed sense of purpose and enthusiasm for the year ahead.

We were fortunate to be joined by Kate Krontiris from the Facilitative Leadership Lab, who led a powerful team-building session. Kate’s expertise guided us through a series of activities designed to enhance our individual and collective ways of working. The exercises fostered deeper connections within our team, allowing us to understand each other on a more personal level. It was an invaluable opportunity to see one another through new lenses, strengthening our unity and creating a positive foundation for the year ahead.

As we embark on another year of work, we are excited about the potential ahead. We know that the lessons we’ve learned will guide us as we continue to push boundaries, support one another, and achieve our collective mission. We look forward to another year of growth, collaboration, and impact.

Here’s to the next chapter in our journey.
