Inspirational Talk at Aurora House – Turning Skills Into Opportunities

04.12.25

On November 28, 2025, the Aurora House welcomed entrepreneurs, young professionals, and students for an uplifting inspirational talk that reminded us of the power of opportunity, resilience, and community support.

Our guest speaker, Imran Kamara from Built, shared a personal and motivating journey that resonated across the room. With calm confidence, Imran spoke about how a single moment of opportunity can transform a life — and how skills, when nurtured, become the foundation for meaningful growth.

Imran’s story began right here at Aurora Foundation, where he once attended an ICT training programme. At the end of the training, he was awarded a laptop — a gesture he described as more than just a gift. For him, it became the turning point.

Imran shared how that laptop opened new doors for him: it allowed him to conduct research, strengthen his skills, and develop the early ideas he is now working toward bringing to life. The laptop, he emphasized, became a trusted tool that encouraged him to keep learning, keep imagining, and keep taking steps toward his goals.

The session concluded with an engaging and interactive Q&A, where participants connected with Imran, asked thoughtful questions, and found motivation in his sincerity and determination. The atmosphere in the room felt hopeful and encouraging — a reminder that growth is not just about where we are now, but about the courage to keep moving forward.

At Aurora Foundation, we remain committed to nurturing that courage. Together, we continue building spaces where learning sparks confidence, and where opportunities — big or small — can ignite life-changing journeys.
